Prostate cancer ranks third among the most common cancers in Malaysian men , with nearly 60% of patients diagnosed at an advanced stage, resulting in a relatively high mortality rate. Ultimately, this is due to a lack of awareness among most men regarding prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening, and the attribution of early symptoms to “common ailments” associated with aging.
